What is A class B class C class battery cell?

What is A class battery cell?

A class battery cell generally refers to the cell that the customer placing an order directly to the battery cell factory, and the battery cell factory arranges production according to the its own production capacity and technical capacity. After a series of battery cell manufacturing processes, the battery is finally produced and delivered to the customer. Before placing the order, the battery factory will generally communicate the battery capacity, thickness, length, width and other parameters with the clients. Then the battery will be made completely according to the standard of the order which is called A class cell.

What is B class battery cell?

Any factory will definitely have a defective rate. Then this defective rate determines the vitality of a factory. In the lithium battery industry, there is not a big gap between the first-line lithium battery factory and the third-line lithium battery factory if only based on technology, ingredients, etc. However, in the production process and manufacturing process, there will be a big gap in the defective rate. First - line manufacturers can achieve about 2%, while second-line and third-line manufacturers may achieve 5 - 10%. It is precisely because of this defective rate that the battery cell of B class is produced.

In fact, there is only a slight difference in the capacity of the battery cells of A and B, or the length and width of the battery cells do not meet the requirements of the order, but the performance is not discounted so much, but the price is lower than A class, so sometimes the B class cell will be shipped directly, but the capacity standard is lower. In addition, A batteries are usually stored in a warehouse. If they are not shipped for 3 - 6 months, they are also called product B batteries. Of course, this is only a popular saying.

What is C class battery cell?

The C battery cell really means that the B battery cell is stored in the warehouse for more than 8 months. If it is still not shipped, it can be called the C battery cell. The C battery cell is stored for a long time. With the self-discharge and the aging of dust and moisture, the C battery cell is most prone to pack expansion.  There is a time when the bag is inflated when it is charged, and there is also a time when liquid leaks and short circuits occur. C batteries are generally only about 50% - 60% of the same type of A batteries, or good ones can reach 70%.  Product C batteries are not safe. In addition, product C batteries are not durable. After several cycles of charging, the performance will be greatly reduced.
